My Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker DGB-650 is not doing too hot coffee?

I just got this coffee and say if you are doing less than 5 cups to press the button that says 1-4 cups water is twice as hot. The coffee does not seem to be really hot. Has anyone else had this problem? Have you solved or just live with it, or you get a new coffee maker and if so what?
