Is this coffee be okay to use?
My boyfriend recently gave me a coffee machine in the university today. This device has been storage in the basement about three years. It is very dusty, but does not smell like mold on it or anything. I know that I run vinegar through it, but the vinegar kill mold that could be on the inner workings of the machine? Please let me know if there is anything I should do besides the "treatment of vinegar. "Thanks!
Vinegar sounds good, but if you want other methods, I recommend hot water, and just to be sure … clean all parts of the open parts of the plant back with soap and water, along with a dish towel. If there are regions that can not quite reach, I guess it affect the taste of their coffee … but I would not recommend taking the thing apart (you never know if you can get back together) unless parts CAN be removed so you can be clean. vinegar may be your best option for the "inner workings", maybe some kind of bacteria killer … disinfectant, you know the deal. Hope this was helpful.
