How do you remove built from coffee filter?
I have a reusable filter in my coffee. Over time, the coffee grounds have worked there in almost all the holes in the filter. Is there anything I can soak in to get rid of it?
I would suggest a brush cooking (specifically, the nipple brush) if you have one, if not a pipe cleaner or toothbrush. or perhaps dive in bleach? rinse well with your sprayer head in the toilet or shower bath, if you have one that does this. Massager speeds so you can use pressure.

Should I buy a coffee maker with a thermal carafe?
Coffee lovers please help me. My 7 year old coffee carafe just die. I am in mourning. Coffee would burn so fast – so switch it off after they made the coffee. My first cup was hot. My second cup would be heated in the microwave. Yes no joke. So I was thinking – a thermal carafe to keep coffee hot without burning? No thermal carafes work best? Thank you.
Coffee is best right after preparation. If kept in a warm after preparation was bitter because the heat Besides burning some of the water is changing the chemistry of coffee. Brewing thermal carafe resolve the problem by eliminating cooking the coffee – that's why coffee shops used thermal carafes, thermal or servers airpots.

What is the white powder left in the filter when I just run water through the coffee maker?
This coffee is only used for water hot. I always put in a filter and then put water in the tank and when done I can have hot water. Later, I look at the filter and there is little amount of white powder. What is that?
Calcium salts found in water that has evaporated out of the filter. I'm not talking about table salt – Although sodium chloride is probably one of the components of the waste. There are several types of salt that is commonly found in tap water – and even some other chemicals, which, naturally, will form a residue on the filter. You can often find the same residue gunked inside of your machine, around the opening tap, and, shower.
